Ohh, where do I begin!
We’d had this family session planned for awhile now, but had to reschedule a couple of time due to weather. Obviously, it worked out for the best! 🙂
The day before their session, Bobby texted me & told me he wanted to propose to Bekah at the end of their session. He said, “if that’s okay” & I was like, “YEEESSSSS!!!!!!!” 🙂 We went over a plan – we would do all of the normal family pictures first, & then I’d take them back to this little field & I’d set them up for one more family picture & he could turn & propose.
The next day, things were going well! We took some family shots, some couple shots, all the normal stuff, & then I brought them over to that field. I got them all set up for that family picture, & as soon as I took it, I said, “Perfect!” trying to key Bobby in that it was tiiiime! The kids all dispersed, so I had to get them back in the picture by saying, “Oh wait – someone blinked. Let’s do that one again!” I didn’t realize that Bobby didn’t have the ring on him, so I probably shot that one pose for three minutes straight waiting for him to turn & propose, hahah! Once he got the ring from his niece, he walked back over to Bekah & got on one knee. *cue the tears!*
Bobby’s kids knew he was going to propose, but Rebekah’s kids did not. It was so sweet getting to capture their genuine reactions as Bobby asked their mom to marry him. His kids looked so happy for their dad, & I think those pictures are some of my favorites of all time – so much joy!
Rebekah was speechless & it was such a sweet & emotional time for everyone.
Bobby, thank you for allowing me the honor of capturing this special moment for you all! You are so good to Rebekah, & I’m so glad the Lord put you in her life.
Bekah, thank you for always being there to support me! You’ve had an unimaginably tough road to walk, & I’m so so happy to see you get your happily ever after.
Sebastian & I can’t wait to celebrate your love & new beginning in a couple of short months!
