Ohhh, this session! I shared the best part on Facebook last week, but I had to blog their whole session!
We had the honor of shooting Paul & Cheyenne’s wedding last October, & I was so so (so so so!) excited when Cheyenne email me a couple of weeks ago saying she was PREGNANT! What made that email even better was that she hadn’t told Paul yet, & wanted to tell him during a photo session! AH!
It was a baaaaad week apparently! BAH! The week before last, I had a killer weight loss week – mostly due to how sick I was, I’m pretty sure. I lost four pounds, which is a lot for me at one time! Unfortunately, I found two of those pounds this past week!!
When I shared my weigh in on Instagram last night, I wrote that I almost didn’t post about it this week, because I feel like a one pound loss is almost laughable. Not for everyone – but for me! I knew that I didn’t work hard last week, & I knew that I wasn’t going to be thrilled with the number on the scale. But I started this public journey for accountability, & if I’m not transparent in both the good weeks & the bad, there’s no point in doing this! So here I am!
This post is vulnerable & scary, but I feel like it’s necessary, too. I wrote on Instagram last night about my need for public accountability & desire to get healthy. I’m making this a blog series as well so that I never forget how hard I worked to reach my goals, big & small!
This is the second session we’ve done at Fort Monroe together, & I think I like this one even better than the last! If you’ve been around for awhile, you know that Andrew & Kayla are some of our favorite friends. We’ve enjoyed going through life with them, & are thankful to the Lord for bringing them our way!
Jordan & Jessica are having a destination wedding in the Outer Banks in October & we were SO honored when they chose us as their wedding photographers! When they made plans to head to Kitty Hawk to finalize some wedding details, it was conveniently on a weekend that we were free too, so we were able to schedule their engagements!
At 6:30 on Friday morning, my brother, Seth, called me to say that Stacey’s contractions were six minutes apart & they were headed to the hospital. By 7:00, he was calling me again to tell me they thought Bodie was going to be here SOON!
Ahhh, I am SO excited to announce something totally NEW!! I was telling my sister-in-law, Lydia, about a new program I was looking to roll out in my business, & she gave me an idea that I just couldn’t shake! I fell in love with the concept & my heart melted into the reason behind it.
